Is my image sent to a server?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser using the Canvas API. Your image never leaves your device, ensuring complete privacy.
What does "connected area" mean?
Connected area mode removes only the spatially contiguous region of matching color starting from where you click. For example, if someone wears green clothing against a green background, only the clicked region is removed, not the clothing.
What does "all matching colors" mean?
Global mode scans the entire image and removes every pixel that matches the target color within your tolerance. This is ideal for logos, icons, and graphics with uniform backgrounds.
What image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, JPEG, and WebP are supported. Output is always PNG to preserve transparency. Even if you upload a JPG, the download will be a transparent PNG.
Will I lose image quality?
No. The preview is scaled down for performance, but the download is processed at full original resolution with every pixel preserved.
How does color tolerance work?
Tolerance controls how similar a pixel must be to your selected color to be removed. Lower tolerance removes only very close matches. Higher tolerance removes a wider range of similar colors. The default of 20 works well for most images.
